Role Summary

American House offers senior living communities in multiple states. Family advisors qualify families, educate them on options, provide resources and personal assistance in identifying which American House community would best meet their needs.

The advisor’s role is to contact families who have requested information through our website, via email, or by phone and schedule them to tour our communities in their area.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, enjoy helping people AND excel at sales! Our best candidates have sales and/or call center experience and want to employ their skills in a meaningful way while working from home. They have a lot of confidence and can speak in a professional manner with conviction and empathy.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver results as measured by established performance sales goals and quotas.
  • Manage calls; actively listen and ask relevant follow-up questions.
  • Assess information quickly, make recommendations, and find solutions.
  • Problem solves to overcome obstacles.
  • Exceptionally well spoken; can speak with conviction and confidence.
  • Genuine interest and concern for consumers and providers
  • Technical abilities include basic computer skills; CRM experience a plus.
  • Self-Motivated; seeks feedback to improve competencies.
  • Ability to make and take a volume of phone calls as well as email
  • Time management, organizational, follow-up, and multi-tasking skills
  • Accountable for tours booked and move-ins made from leads sent to our communities monthly.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the US. No visa sponsorship. 
  • Must be able to adhere to call handling processes with knowledgeability, friendliness and compassion.
  • Senior housing sales and/or call center experience is a plus.
